Our home for the week:

Only a short ride from the airport (FUE) Casa Lapaz is located in the quiet village of Tindaya, tucked away in the desert with views to the sea and the Sacred Mountain. The venue was designed by a lovely family who live on site with their three young children and farm animals.

With airy, green and cosy spaces this unique venue has all the comforts you need whilst remaining true to the essence of desert living with its raw elements and homely style.

The simplicity of the desert becomes the canvas for deep contemplation to find the Oasis within.

Sample of daily
schedule:

  • Begin your day in silence and welcome the mind into a calm and grounded state with a guided meditation to welcome the day ahead.

  • The morning Yoga sessions move and purify body and mind. Physical stimulation is perfectly balanced with Yogic philosophy to challenge and inspire you in the best way possible!

  • Indulge the senses with an abundant, colourful and fresh breakfast buffet, prepared with love and local ingredients by our chef Vanessa.

Plenty of time after to chat, stroll, rest, read and simply be, you are on your holidays after all :)

  • Arouse your energy without weighing yourself down with bountiful and delicious treats that satiate your hunger and leave you feeling light.

After lunch you can have a siesta or enjoy your free time however you like, on some days optional beach trips, workshops and hikes will be available.

  • The evening Yoga sessions help you relax, restore the body and wind down the mind. With a calmer undertone this practice perfectly matches the lazy desert sunset...

  • Option to stay around after Yoga and sing your heart out at our Kirtan, a beautiful opportunity to dive even deeper into the more devotional aspects of our Yoga practice.

  • A feast for the senses Vanessa's dinners are pure culinary artistry. Feeding body & soul with quality ingredients, the perfect way to close our evening fulfilled in in every way.

Optional complimentary practices & activities:

  • Kirtan is a devotional chanting practice done in a call and response style to praise and celebrate life, love, faith, family and all the mystical powers embroidered through existence. It can be ecstatic, emotional, blissful and joyful.

Come with an open heart and your heart will sing.

  • Journalling is a way to consolidate everything as it appears during your time in the retreat.

Pen and paper in hand, our guided sessions are an opportunity to explore various topics from the privacy of your notebook and dive deeper into self-study.

  • 'Satsang' generally refers to a group of people coming together to openly explore life's eternal questions often under the guidance of a spiritual teacher.

Simply put this is a moment to contemplate topics in non judgemental conversations.

  • Under the desert sky and led by a Fuerteventura resident, our Sound Bath is an orchestra of deep resonance promoting healing, rest and an unforgettable sound experience surrounded by nature.

  • A closer embrace of our environment, this optional hike is an opportunity to experience a literal and metaphorical birds eye view of our stay in the desert.

Feed your soul:

We believe in the alchemy of food and the profound impact it has on our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

As the direct intermediary between human and spirit, food carries the essence of the earth and the energy of those who grow, prepare, and consume it.

Therefore, we approach food with great care and intention, ensuring that it is nourishing, fresh, and primarily vegetarian and vegan. Thanks to the beautiful garden on site, our menu will also feature some farm-to-table produce.

Breakfast: Awaken your senses with our buffet featuring the freshest local produce, cereals, bread, and a range of plant-based options.

Midday treat: creative, colourful and bountiful treats that will entice your taste buds and arouse your energy.

Dinner: is a celebration of quality ingredients and culinary artistry, served with love and passion, colour and fire, crafted to nourish your body and soul.

Cristine

“I am writing this over a month after returning home and what's struck me most is how much the practices and intentions I learnt on the retreat have continued to stay with me and improve my "real" life.

This isn't just a chance to do yoga in a sunny, beautiful villa (although it is that!): it's also a chance to really look inward, take stock of life, and move forward with clarity and purpose. I now feel calmer, more present, and much more aligned with how to live in accordance with my values.

Robbie and Vanessa are both incredibly warm, caring and special people, and they effortlessly cultivated an atmosphere of trust, sharing and growth. I came away from the week with a much clearer sense of what brings me contentment and fulfillment, and that is priceless.”

Dani is just beautiful through and through.
She is so welcoming and inclusive to all and I always feel totally at ease in her presence. There is a real sense that her work is her passion and her truth. Every experience I’ve had with Dani is so authentic and heartfelt. I can’t commend her enough as a yoga teacher, menstrual mentor and guide and magical human being. Thank you Dani.
